I toured Toronto in the April of 1999 with members of the American production and inventory control society. I left on a coach bus headed for Toronto Ontario, Canada. Each year for the past seven, the members of APICS have left the class rooms of the School of Management and traveled to a far away destination to see first hand how the theories and practices we study are enacted in a real world setting. We were off for a five-day tour of factories in Greater Toronto.
